Donna’s Feast of the Seven Fishes may be sold out, but looks like they have more holiday fun in the mix for us. Stay tuned for Donna’s take home for the holidays, ooooh
As if you haven’t already seen this all over your feeds - Flamingo Estate’s holiday pop up in Highland Park is entirely made of gingerbread! The pop up is open Thursday through Sunday till 12/23 - check here for full info
Bacari is getting into the holiday spirit - West Adams location is decked out and serving delicious hot cocoa (mentioned above), and a couple locations are hosting holiday movie nights, jazz nights & more. Peep their story highlights for the full calendar.

Food & Culture News
Silver Lake has seen two major sets of closures in the past month. Bar Maruno / Rápido / Causita called it quits in November, and El Cochinito / Cafe Tropical / Bolita performed their final services this past week. I was especially fond of Bolita, the Cuban cocktail bar that I once lived 300 feet away from. I’m so sad to see it go, this one hit different. Special shout out to Chris, who crafted many Rome with a Views for me - and once even made my friend a drink that tasted like “puppets and celebration” after she booked a writing gig. He’ll be bartending at Saffy’s now, make sure to pay him a visit!
Madhappy opened a brick and mortar on Melrose, complete with a chic cafe serving Courage Bagels, Jon & Vinny’s and more
Billie Eilish is getting into the food biz with a vegan Italian restaurant concept
Florence panini mecca All’Antico Vinaio has finally opened their LA brick and mortar on Abbot Kinney. More info here!
The cutest Italian specialty market & boutique, Bucatini, is back open in Echo Park - this time, expanding into a larger space on Sunset Blvd (same spot, more space). More info here
Update non-update - Hollywood’s beloved Cineramadome will be reopening - but the date has pushed back to 2025. TTYL about this one, but LA Mag has some morsels of news for you in the meantime
